At present I am Vice Chairman of National Council of Gujarati Organisation.

Secretary General
Sanjay Odedra was born in Kenya and emigrated to the UK in 1972. He is married and has two daughters.
Sanjay has been in business for over 30 years and former Wokingham Councillor for 12 years. He has been on the local village hall committee and in the Maher community for many years and most recently involved in the Maher Samelan in Turkey (2019).
He was also involved in helping many Gujarati’s return home from Gujarat during the pandemic. He enjoys watching Football and support Liverpool FC
Treasurer
Deepak Patel moved to UK from India in 2006 as a student to pursue ACCA. He is now settled here with his family and working as a Group Financial Controller for a Hotel Group.
Deepak is also an active member of various groups, promoting Indian Culture. He is offering his services to National Council of Gujarati Organisation UK as a Treasurer.
He is eager and enthusiastic individual, who is always in fore front to serve the community. He believes humanity comes before everything and this keep him driving.

I am Assistant Treasurer for NCGO 2020-2022. I have been Treasurer and Assistant for NCGO for many years.
I am a retired civil servant and am also serving as committee member and President of other organisations at present.
Public Relations Officer
Krishna Pujara, has worked within and helped develop statutory and voluntary sector organisations in UK, with a special interest in supporting Health & Social Care.
At present Krishna is a front runner in developing services to empower women nationwide as the Chief Executive of Enfield Saheli. The organisation aims to enable women to participate fully in the social, cultural and civic life. We are a service-oriented charity providing support to improve the health and well-being of women and their families in UK. We offer Advice, Information, Training, Advocacy & Counselling on a range of issues.
Krishna’s impressive track record of success in promoting the concerns of women regarding Domestic Violence, Forced Marriages, Trafficking and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in the UK and over the world speaks volumes about her dedication and commitment to the communities.
Through her work, Krishna has become an active ambassador and voice of the Communities and currently also holds the following executive posts:

Krishna has served in various positions in the past as the Chairperson of Women’s Aid, President of London Host Lions Club International, and General Secretary of the Brent Indian Association.
In recognition of all of her work and services to the community, she has been awarded by the various different bodies over the years.

I Gargi Patel (MBE) rooted from Village Bhadran educated in Ahmedabad India.
I am a civil servant and work for the Home Office for the National Community Engagement team where I am an Indian community engagement officer. and really passionate about my role and have assisted many members of the Indian community through faith charity organisations. I have a great desire in the community to encourage younger generation to continue the culture inheritance. I was recently awarded a MBE for the work I have done in the Home Office with the Indian community. I love to listen Romantic Bollywood music.

I am currently an Honourable Trustee and a former president of Brahmin Society North London. I Have been serving the community for several years. I published Jyotirdhar magazine for BSNL in 2011 and had a pleasure of launching an elders’ group.
I have been on EC of NCGO for past four years.
I am a Life member of Gujarati Literary Academy and Shishukunj whereby I served for almost 20 years teaching our mother tongue. I Played an Active leadership role for Shishukunj. I Participated in SHYAM (Satkarma Humanitarian Youth Awakening Mission) Served in SACRE Standing Advisory Committee for Religious Education—— for 5 years in Barnet Council.
I acted as a parent governor for 15 years in Preston Manor High School I was involved in various matters. Participated in approximately 5 to 6 productions of religious musical Ballets. I Enjoy swimming, playing badminton, and trekking, whereby Climbed the 3 peaks of Brecon Beacon in wales for British heart foundation, annually walk 10K for NSPCC for race for life British diabetics, and Cancer research, participating in fund raising events
I am also involved in South Kenton and Preston Park Residence Association. I Love spending time with 5 grandchildren.
